cool yeah the CAI I just ordered was from E-Bay also I am hoping that it goes to the fender well but then I think I'd have to re-route my battery?

If you got an ebay CAI for a 1st gen it probably puts the filter above the exhaust manifold.

Sure, for sound.
You're better off just selling it and buying a real CAI or making one yourself out of a 3.0 intake tube and a K&N filter.

Get the 90-degree bend from the intake tubing on a 3.0L V6 Caravan either from a junk yard or from the neons.org For Sale board. From there you cut your battery tray to allow it to fit and put a cone filter on the end. Some people will cut the 3.0 intake to put a extension in it, usually a piece of exhaust pipe (pretty sure it is 2.5").

this is the ebay kind for 1st gens, and yeha they dont do much...
and this one reaches past the exhaust manifold. it turns slightly outwards toward the driver wheel to stay away from the mani.
