quarter mile time

does any one kno what my car should run in a quarter mile, i have a 96 two door 5 speed neon with the sohc engine, the only performance things i have done is a cold air intake that runs down by the trans and a weld on performance muffler.

mid 16s to high 16s also depends on what track you go to...

I was able to get 16.1 our of my '98 highline SOHC 5-speed with basically just an Iceman.

mid 16's. It all depends on the driver tho. If you get some nice sticky tires and can launch and power-shift right, maybe low 16's. A SOHC w/ basic bolt-on's (CAI & muffler) should run about the same as a stock DOHC. Stock R/T's can run a 15.9 so low 16's should be very possible for you.

i got a 16.6 wit alot of spin of the line so i was pretty happy, all i have done is a CAI and a performance muffler and i also had some heavy 17's on it so i think i did good.
