were is the air pollution solenoid ? (aplsol)

my car has been sorta surging going down the road . i had free dianosis done at auto zone. they give me code pt1492 (aplsol) air pollution "something" solenoid and they didnt have a clue were it was ?? anybody able to help me. and the check engine light has been on it has also been poping back into intake once in a great while .
