Yeah the site has plenty of members with em, although they all talk funny! ( :D overseas :D ) i like the tail lights they have a certain style of precision the u.s. ones don't... the side turn signals are cool too like subarus do...

Excport ZNeons got som e other random features as well. A higher percentage of them came with leather interiors, in addition to leather being offered beyond 1995, aluminum trim on the door sills, adjustable headlights, rear fog lights, and a few other things I am sure I'm forgetting.

interesting to see, but still BFD... any car in australia, japan, UK, etc... is RHD. you see enough of em and it's no big deal.

Here you can see the export only power folding mirrors, and of course the amber front turn signals:

Leather seats w/ lumbar adjustment, smooth (not perforated) leather wheel, and aluminum/stainless trim on door sills:

Visible in this pic is the RHD master cylinder, relocated coolant overflow and AC lines, the resevoir for the RHD-only (on 1st gens) hydraulic clutch, and the adjustment motors for the "E-Code" headlamps:

And the infamous Dimma widebody Neon from the UK:

That wide-body was a one-off, it was built to be given away for a magazine contest if I remember right.

Yeah you've got to love those one-time offers, i like the tails on export neons, the shapes the lights make are more geometric, and i think they might have an extra one for some reason, just a guess though.

i've only driven one RHD car it was a porsche 944 it had a 6 speed custom tranny for a guy who drove the tracks out west, it was a car i couldn't wait to get out of! :pukeleft: felt like driving backwards or in a dream (or nightmare!)

The Export tails have a seperate turn signal, where the North American models had the turn signals, brake and tail lights all in one bulb per side. The Export models also have rear fog lights. The rear bulb total is doubled on Export 1st gens compared to their North American counterparts.

Good to know! i'd like to have the backup lights/fogs like an eclipse or old mustang have em... like eleanor in gone in sixty seconds... those just make it look bad ass....

And that's why I would have loved to have a friend at Belvidere. I had a friend in AU who was going to go to the boneyard for me, but shipping would have been murder. He ended up trading his Neon for a Skyline GT. Poor guy. ;)
