I'm probably going to go at least one day, but I'm not gonna race like I did last year. My Dad isn't going this year, and that takes away a lot of the fun for me (and financial relief lol).

Well, hopefully I'll see some of you. I'll be wearing my ONA shirt.

Now my Dad is acting like he's gonna go, but probabaly only for a day and he's just gonna drive his truck (lowered Ram on 20"s). It's the Road Runner tribute year, but unfortunately he doesn't feel like trailering his '69 Hemi 'Runner down there, bastard.

But yeah, I am almost certainly going at this point at least for a day. Haven't decided if I'm gonna race yet, I'd really like to win the Neon bracket this time. Just got the current Mopar Action with my name in it from being runner-up last year.

I'ma have to buy one of the TRSN shirts for this ish.

He needs to get his ass of the couch, put the Runner on the trailer and drive that shit down here... I'd go just to take a look at it.

If you think you'll want a TRSN shirt let me know and I can custom make you one that says VINNY on it or whatever you want.

I'll see what I can talk him into, but its really unlikely. He doesn't like entering it the show there because the few mods it has puts him in B-Body Modifed, and he stands no chance of winning because the car isn't really what they look for in that class. He won't want to drive it on Brice Rd. as crazy that is and the traffic, he just really wouldn't be able to have much fun with it. In addition, the Runner is about to get torn apart for a rebuilt tranny, new clutch, and an electric vaccum pump to help the power brakes out with the long duration cam that's in it.

I have a much better chance of talking him into driving down in his '64. He's not as afraid to drive that one, it's not worth quite as much, and if you stay off the gas it cruises along just as nice as stock.

Nah it's cool, I don't want my name on a shirt. I'm just gonna get the a regular one.

August 12-14 National Trail Raceway in Columbus. Anyone interested in going should pick up the new Mopar Action magazine with the orange Daytona on the front, it has the complete 2005 program in it.
