it was great meeting everyone i hadn't met before: vinny, joe, fred, brent (and family, too bad you couldn't have stayed longer), and the other few guys that showed up for a little while (sorry i missed your name's guys
), and great to see others i already knew again (jason, diana)!
i had a great time hanging out with everyone this afternoon/evening! even if we didn't do much more than sit around chatting, eating some good food (again, thanks for jason and diana shopping, and then fred for cooking), and tossing around the pigskin. picnics can be fun with good company! you don't always have to be tooling around in your car to make a car meet good.
vinny and jason, thanks for putting all of this together. hopefully we can get something together again this year before it gets too cold (as fred suggested. hm, maybe he could plan the next one?
), and hopefully nothing will come up that prevents me from making it.
