What does everyone do in the 1/4 mile and what mods do you have done to your car.
I run 14.6 with an all motor SOHC, still needs fine tuning though.

19.57.... 18.9 if i use drag radials though....

j/k
i've never run my car down the track, but it's pretty slow. sounds like you've got a pretty good time there.
what all do you have done on yours? since you're asking for our mods and all might as well share yours eh?
(welcome to the boards btw

)

My '97 DOHC ACR ran 14.83 @ 92mph. Thats with an Iceman, 57mm TB, AFX-R ECU, and Borla muffler.

like i asked WHAT DO YOU HAVE DONE ON IT?

just because you say all motor doesn't mean anything more than you don't have nitrous or any other form of forced induction. a good friend of mine had an all motor (read no N20, or turbo) sohc neon that had mods on it like high comp pistons, forged rods, crane 14 cam, bolt-ons, etc.... so i take it the way you said that means you can't have any bolt-ons or internal mods?

I run slow @ even slower.
I might be at the track on Saturday since I have the day off, and it's supposed to be a nice day!
Hoping for consistant high 14s. Best last fall was 14.872@92.023 mph, the track is not only 1,400ft above sea level, the last 1/8th is uphill!
Should be 14.65ish at sea level, no real correction for the uphillness.

Gotta love Thompson! Iffy prep, PA system is blown (or sounds like it

), last 1/8 is uphill, the slow down area at the end is DOWNHILL leading into a lake! Though I'm only 40ish minutes away and it's $10 on Wednesday nights.

(which I can't go to anymore being on 2nd shift

)

Basically sounds like the tracks around here. Whats that on the tree, does that display RT or something? Is that a big tower you drive under like at National Trail, or is it under an overpass? lol

Overpass with a mini tower.

IIRC, the tree will display the r/t, then 1/8 et, then 1/4 et.
If you are bracket racing, it will first display both of your dial ins. Kind fun either way, when you get someone faster, very similar, or a slow time.

Looks and sounds like a nice and uniquely set up strack, despite the downfalls you mentioned.

Hahahaha! Thompson is awesome!

I think I'm going to take my V8 'Bird up there first and get times then take the Neon. I'll be sure to post timeslips.
