Another SRT here

Post by SRT_8_U »

Just saw this on someones sig on another site... figured what the heck... might find something useful here....
heres what I got so far....

S2 with toys, 3" CAI. 3" side exit exhaust no cat, Greddy Type S bov, SBR wastegate actuator running 23 psi. msd coil and wires, front and rear strut bars, and progress lowering springs... probably more but cant remember it right now...

best time at track was a 13.2 @ 107 on street tires @ 50psi with a 2.2 60ft.... blew a IC coupler on the second run and havent been to the track since...

Pictures from the top....

1.my modified front, havent finished molding the holes where the crosshairs went yet...

2.wheels look black from far away

3. my injector cover, the logo changes from this

4. to this

5. engine bay

6. here you can tell my wheels have a ton of metal flake in them, I painted them myself, and yes I covered the wheels with petroleum jelly to keep the paint from sticking to the tires

so thats most of the pics I have, if you guys have some sort of local meet, I just might be able to show up, depends on whether the wife lets me or not!

I dig the cut out front ends, and black is about the only color those wheels look right in. Looks good!

I'm sure there will be some sort of meet when the weather warms up, I suppose I will have to step up and take care of that now that the man behind out meets went and moved down south like some sort of douchebag lol :)

Very nice, glad to have you aboard!

You should be in the mid-low 12's. Either it's that you've only ran at National Trails or that your 2.2 60' is killing your times or both. Trails is the WORST track for turbocharged cars and a buddy of mine proved it with his WRX, it ran 15.80's there and then ran a 14.7 at Norwalk immediately after our 2 hour drive there.

I ran it at Kil Kare, and yes the 2.2's are killing me.... first of all the 50 psi in the street tires hurt.... plus when I got there, I signed up and immediately got on the track.... no cool down time after a 30 minute drive, I am thinking that hurt it as well.... when I lowered the pressure, I blew a 3" slice in the lower IC coupler, and there was no way to replace, or repair it enough to get a few more runs in, so I quit, and didnt get the chance to go back.... thanks for the welcome guys, hope I get to meet all of you sooner or later....

I liked the black on the wheels, but I am going to try bronze now that 3 other SRT's local to me just went with black....
