Quite a bit has changed...
It's been forever since I've posted over here, especially since I've become the Jr. Admin at 2GN.org, but I figured I'd come back by here and post some pictures of the car since I've done quite a bit to it.
Here's a couple of pics from the last time I posted some...
And here are the latest pictures from yesterday...
More JDM camera tilt, y0!
^^^ Probably my favorite!
Again!!11
And my fat ass by my car.
I've added the 'Cuda stripes, a Mopar Lip Kit, removed the rear section of the SRT exhaust, 17" Exel RH-5 wheels that I recently custom painted flat black and silver (to match the 'Cudas) due to bending a lip on one of them, and smoked the taillights... I'm sure there are a couple other things that I'm forgetting...
Whatcha' guys think?

Not bad at all, I like that red color.
The only critique I can give is I'm not feeling all the stickers (cuda stripes or the windshield) and it looks like the front of the car sits a little high, but overall it looks really nice.

Yeah, the 'roll call' on the windshield will probably be coming off soon. As for the 'Cuda's, those will be there forever.Vinny wrote:Not bad at all, I like that red color.

And the stance... Yeah, the car's sitting level at the moment, it's just the odd wheel openings that Daimler-Chrysler engineered for the 2nd Gen Neons. I'm planning new springs or maybe even coilovers in the future that will bring the front end down a bit more to equal the same wheel gap (or the lack thereof) as the rear, so it will look a bit better.
Thanks, BTW!
Oh and Jim... You hush. I was here before you were.
Yeah, you see a lot of 2Gs with that stance. Get coilovers, that was going to be one of my next steps before I gave up and sold it.

good looking man it all flows together.
But holy decal
I don't usually like that many decals but i kinda like how you got them set up where they all are pretty much same size and all in one spot.
I'd prob say some you could do without.
Just an FYI if you put decals on your car that are of products you have in the car ... it attracts thieves ... hence your JL audio decal and i couldn't see all of yours but that one stood out.

Here's a close up pic I took about 10 minutes after I was done putting them on...Midnight_Rider wrote:Please post a close-up pic first- I kinda' like the "roll call." Car looks great!
The only one that's not pictured is the 2GN.org one below it, also in the 'etched glass' vinyl material. Matches the "2GN.org" lettering exactly, too. The company that made these for me replaced one logo that came to me screwed up, with the custom 2GN.org one. They were really great to deal with, but unfortunately, I can't remember the name of the company.

yah i'd def. take them all off except the 2gn and mopar.
I know i already said this, but just for shits and giggles it really does create a great way for thieves to easilly spot a car that has something they want. Audio, i think, is the #1 stolen item from any cars now a days.
Even if the stickers are there for show and the equipment isn't in the car, it still creates curosity.
On my old neon i had mtx decals on it and took them of within a week due to a few guys looking into my car.
