So im lookin to get a grand soon and was just wonderin if anyone had some good advice as to what i can buy to add some pep to my car? i first plan on swapin in a mtx so there goes about 500...what else would you guys suggest i buy to get the most bang for my buck?
Oh and for what i have done: Kirk 4-1 header, 52mm TB, and Ram intake. thats all on the engine side.
Any suggestions would be spetacular, most focused on reducing the slow dig accell. and i want to keep this a DD so no extreme weight redux. thanks

I'd suggest saving it, but I'll go ahead and tell you what you want to hear.
First off, you can do an MTX swap for a lot less than $500, so let's say you have $700 left over.
$100 - Underdrive Pulley
$150 - Aftermarket PCM
$20 - Booger Bushings
$50 - Buy a used intake mani and port and polish it yourself
$300 - Buy a cylinder head, rebuild it with a stronger valvetrain and cam
and have $80 leftover, or:
Underdrive Pulley, PCM, and spend the rest on nice tires.
