front licence plate
Hey guys well my parents are going to be switching the licence plates on my Neon to Ohio plates which means i have to put one of the plates on the front.... how and where should i put it? what i was thinking about doing is just painting the factory (or dealership) holder the color of my Neon....or is there another way of doing it so that i dont have to look at the front and see a stupid gray licence plate holder

If you have the money I would take it to a paint shop and have it matched to your car if you are that worried about it. I had a front plate on my red car for a while and I just painted the bracket black, it looked better than nasty grey. If you can get one of the parts store universal brackets (like a metal strip with two mounting holes and two plastic nuts inset to bolt the plate to) you can try that and maybe even bend the bottom of the plate up 90 degrees (or cut it )

You might not have a aftermarket bumper, but what i did was drill a hole (i forget what size) as big as the FMM bolt. i removed that stupid little bar thing since its worthless, and then put the license plate between the motor mount and the like crossbrace or whatever it bolts to so its sandwiched in. then just bolt er down. i had the red part bent down but with the pigs around here, you gotta watch every detail; it wasnt as noticeable but looked nicer.

I know people that have been ticketed for having them in the windshield. I agree with your position as it is the same as mine except I just don't run the front at all since it looks like crap on there.KB9QDI wrote:I refuse to run mine.....Fuck Da Police
Mine is in my front glass and will stay there. As long as it is in plain view they can't do or say shit

I have several County and local Police friends and all have stated that the windshield is ok as long as the plate is viewable. I have had no problems. It is ugly there but better than a 100 ticket
my one buddy with a civic hatch put his on the sunviser. so he just flips it all the way the other way against the window, and you see it like that. i forget what side its on though.
