I bought a Honduh!

Post by Vinny »

:)

Yep, the first foreign car ever in my entire family. I hope I don't hurt myself with it's whopping 92 hp!

1990 Civic DX hatch
brown/brown
175k miles
1.5L SOHC 16v
new clutch, starter, radiator, thermostat, pioneer cd player
typical 1/4 panel rot and some dents, but overall it's in ok shape.

Eh, it's something to get me back and forth to work keeping the wear and mileage down on the ACR. I'ma have my mom make me a trasparency for the back window that reads "my other car is a Mopar" :)

I'm going to pick it up in an hour, I'll try and post a pic after I get it home.

It was either this or a '91 Shadow that seemed to have some problems. As much as I would have prefered to have a Mopar, I have a feeling this Honda will be more reliable.

I need to figure out what is wrong with the front suspension/steering (tie rod?) and it smokes a little bit, but other than that it runs pretty good.

Well, I'm off go rev my engine in traffic. Rice ya latah suckas. :)

dude, vinny, you should totally get that, and get a whole bunch of APC and NOS stickers and plaster them all over the thing. that'd be a riot.

Nope, no fart can. The car has a brand new exhaust, and surprisingly has aggressive-looking yet tasteful exhaust tips. It's quiet, so quiet I keep forgetting to put it in 5th on the highway (has no tach).

This front end is screwed. I wish I would have driven it on the highway first I would have offered him less. I hope I don't have to spend too much money to get it feeling better above 35 mph. It's already had at least one CV/axle replaced recently so hopefully it shouldn't be anything worse than a wheel bearing or tie rod.

My Dad didn't say much about it when I told him I got it, but my brother told me him and my step-mom have both been bitching about it today. If they want to have a say in what I buy as a beater, or otherwise for that matter, they can throw me some cash and I'll buy a domestic lol.
