New guy from indiana

Hey all... Just bought an 04 srt4...im new to the neon crowd but not to turbos. I just got rid of my 97 talon tsi awd because of all the problems i was having with it and the money i had invested in it. Anything i should know about these neons?? haha...Ill have pictures up sometime this week too.

haha thanks guys...im from north central indiana. A buddy of mine told me about this place and goes by the name Skill. And for the record im not going to rice anything out..

Welcome, and very nice SRT-4!

First off you need an oil catch can for the PCV valve line and a set of MSD Super Conductor plug wires to replace the tiny stock wires that are known to get baked by the turbo, at least the #4 plug wire is. That's pretty much it.

Thanks! Just ordered the msd super conductor wires, msd coil pack, and MPx heat shield to help keep that heat away. I did notice the stock plug wires had a little heat damage so thanks for bringing this to my attention...

Nice car. These cars are really pretty solid. I have not had any problems and other guys I know have not had any either.

Welcome, and congrats on the new car. These cars are great, I had a white srt-4 and well some kid t-boned me.. Well then I went and bought another one, the hold up really well if you take care of them! :wink:
05 red SRT-4- Mopar Stage 1, Forge WGA(pushing 20psi), JMB Ultimate Intake with drycell battery, MPx 3" Catless Exhaust, and Prothane Race MM Inserts.

05 white SRT-4- Totaled on 4-7-06, t-boned by some dumb ass in springboro.
